Join us in the Opa-Locka Community Garden every first Saturday of the month after Pilates in the Garden for a wellness workshop presented by FIU's Integrative Medicine Undergraduate Club!

Neighborhood Healing Hour is a monthly wellness workshop hosted by FIU's Integrative Medicine Undergraduate Club (IMU) in partnership with Health in the Hood, built around one simple idea: healing should be accessible to everyone. Every first Saturday, we bring the community together for an hour of hands-on learning covering different aspects of integrative medicine- connecting health, science, and therapeutic techniques that you can use every day. No experience needed, no cost to attend, and perfect for people of all ages. It's a space where medicine meets community, and where taking care of your mind and body is something we do together.

Inter Miami Concessions

Join our Inter Miami concessions volunteer team and help turn game day energy into real impact ⚽️

This is a private volunteer opportunity where you’ll be working concession stands during Inter Miami games. It’s fast-paced, social, and a fun way to support Health in the Hood while being part of the action.

How it supports HITH:

• We receive 5–10% of total sales

• We keep 100% of credit card tips

• We earn $100 per volunteer who shows up and completes their shift

We’re looking for volunteers who are reliable, comfortable interacting with customers, and ready to jump into a high-energy environment.

This is more than just volunteering, it’s a powerful (and fun) way to help us raise funds and continue serving our community 💛

Volunteers will help serve and sell food and beverages during the event—keeping the energy high and guests taken care of. You may even get the chance to work alongside Messi’s dad, who’s a chef!
